Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento is a 24-hours emergency, short-term shelter-care for abused or neglected children from Sacramento County. You will find counseling, 24-hour staffing, social work intervention, medical care, activities, recreation and an on-site school.

My Sister's House identifies and addresses the needs of women and children impacted by domestic violence in the Asian and Pacific Islander community by offering a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven shelter and community resources and services. Services and programs include Women to Work program (women's learning and support group), culturally appropriate domestic violence intervention, community presentations and consultation, Wish List, and volunteer opportunities.

Sacramento Crisis Nursery is a temporary volunteer-run, safe place for children whose parents are experiencing a crisis or stressful situation. Services are free of charge, placement is voluntary, all information is confidential.

WEAVE is a temporary shelter and support services to victims of domestic violence and their children who are in crisis and need a safe place to stay; social service advocacy and referrals; emergency transportation, food and clothing; child abuse identification and intervention; and legal information and referral.
